The Content Council Appoints Four Industry Powerhouses To Board Of Directors
New York, NY (June 24, 2015) — The Content Council, the premiere non-profit organization for content marketing in North America, announced today that four new board members were elected to its board of directors. From Fortune 500 companies like IBM to Wal-Mart, the incoming committee brings along the talent and leadership behind the most complex and highest-value content programs internationally as well as over 100 years of expertise in the marketing industry.
The four new board members include: Georgine Anton, EVP, Chief Client Officer, for MXM; Vince Giorgi, Vice President, Solutions Development, Hanley Wood Marketing, Inc.; Lori Greene, Senior Partner Director of Content, for Maxus; and Duncan Milne, Vice President for Rodale Grow. Their 2-year terms begin effective immediately.

Joining Seibert on The Content Council board are four returning board members and four newcomers, together representing a diverse set of clients and services in this dynamic growth industry sector.
Chairman:
Andrew Seibert, Managing Partner, Imprint
In addition to serving as current Chairman of The Content Council, Seibert is managing partner at Imprint. He was previously president of Dow Jones Content Lab and president of SmartMoney (magazine, website, mobile), which was a joint venture between Dow Jones and Hearst magazines. Seibert was previously general manager of Money magazine’s Education Services, a division of Time, Inc., and served as vice president of marketing at GE Capital and in various marketing roles at American Express. Seibert earned his undergraduate degree at Wesleyan University and his masters’ degree at Columbia University.
New Board Members:
Georgine Anton, EVP, Chief Client Officer, MXM
Georgine Anton has been in the content marketing business for over 20 years. She was recently promoted to EVP, chief client officer responsible for oversight of MXM’s current client base. Anton works with clients to ensure the highest level of service and client satisfaction on all fronts. She ensures that MXM brings its best multi-channel resources to bear for each client including everything from strategy, creativity and execution. Anton’s client experience spans a host of companies in the automotive, home, lifestyle and health/wellness industries. She lives in Washington, D.C. and is a graduate of St. Lawrence University. She holds a master’s degree from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
Vince Giorgi, Vice President, Solutions Development, Hanley Wood Marketing, Inc.
Vince Giorgi serves as vice president, solutions development at Hanley Wood Marketing, Inc. (HWM), a founding corporate member of The Content Council and a highly experienced and award-winning brand strategy and content marketing firm. A brand, marketing and communications strategist, Giorgi collaborates with cross-disciplinary HWM teams to imagine and deliver breakthrough content and digital strategies and programs for enterprise and mid-size organizations.
Lori Greene, Senior Partner Director of Content, Maxus
As senior partner, content director for media agency Maxus Global, Lori Greene launched a content practice that enables clients to achieve their marketing goals through content creation. She teaches a popular content marketing course at New York University; social media at the Institute for Culinary Education; and various digital marketing classes for universities such as Fairleigh Dickinson, Brooklyn College and more. Greene oversaw the global digital rebranding of WOBI, home of World Business Forum; won CableFax Best Website of the Year for her work heading up BBC America digital; ran content for the History Channel and Biography Channel digital where her strategic direction led to record-breaking traffic and numerous awards; and was a television producer at the Food Network, Lifetime and The Travel Channel. She started her content career as a widely published journalist and reporter.
Duncan Milne, VP, Rodale Grow
Duncan joined Rodale in 2005 and runs Rodale’s content marketing agency Rodale Grow. Duncan has worked in the custom content business since 1995 both in the U.K. and here in the U.S., managing some of the most complex and highest-value content programs around. Programs include Virgin Atlantic, Orange, Bloomingdale’s, Wal-Mart, Williams-Sonoma, Kraft, Panera, Sam’s Club and Merck. He leads a team that listens to clients, brings the expertise and experience necessary to build a successful and strategic content marketing program and ensures that they deliver results. Duncan has a master’s degree from the University of Oxford.
Returning Board Members:
Keith Sedlak, CMO, McMURRY/TMG
As chief marketing officer at McMURRY/TMG, Keith Sedlak oversees new business development, creating a disciplined strategy for identifying, approaching and engaging the clients they can help the most. He also directs the marketing strategy for the agency, so that everyone knows they’re not just the largest independent content marketing firm, but also the smartest and most sophisticated.
John Cimba, President and CEO, GLC Custom Media
For the past five years, John Cimba has been leading GLC Custom Media, a Northbrook, Illinois-based custom content and communications company specializing in the health care, association and corporate markets. John has quickly executed a plan for steady growth in these core verticals while expanding into new areas of opportunity.
Gary Johnson, President, MSP Communications
Gary Johnson, President of MSP Communications, has been involved in the content creation business since 1973. Johnson has overseen the development of more than 225 print and digital titles. MSP was a pioneer in the custom publishing field, publishing custom magazines for national brands starting in 1978. Since then MSP has produced magazines, websites and digital content across every platform for international and national brands, associations, single events and organizations including Betty Crocker, Pillsbury, Delta Airlines, 3M, United Healthcare, IBM, Optum Health, McKesson Corporation, Thrivent Financial, Macy’s, U.S. Bank, Republican National Convention, Jostens, Super Bowl, World Series, Independent Bankers Association, Sons of Norway, Minnesota Twins, Teradata Corporation and others.
Jacquie Loch, Vice President & Group Publisher, English Brands TVA Group
Jacquie Loch is a communications and media executive specializing in delivering multi-platform content and marketing. With nearly 25 years of experience gained at some of Canada’s largest media companies, she is a brand and content expert who drives engagement and results for audiences and advertisers. As vice president and group publisher at TVA Group, she leads the editorial teams for Canadian Living, ELLE Canada, Style at Home, Canadian Gardening, and The Hockey News. Loch has held several senior media roles including: vice president content solutions, Rogers Media; vice president client solutions, Rogers Media; vice president strategic creative, Rogers Publishing; and promotions executive, integrated business solutions at CanWest Media Sales. Loch is a graduate in Advertising: Communications & Design, from OCAD University in Toronto.
