The Content Council Announces The 2016 Pearl Awards Shortlist
New York, NY (October 13, 2016) — The list of finalists for the 14th Annual Pearl Awards, the longest running content marketing awards program in the United States, was released today by The Content Council. Truly a global competition, this year a record 87 companies including leading brands, publishers and agencies around the world submitted entries.
“Since 2004, The Content Council has been celebrating excellence in content marketing through the annual Pearl Awards program and this year’s entries are no exception,” said Andy Seibert, Chairman of The Content Council and Managing Partner of Imprint. “The list of finalists showcases innovation and excellence in content marketing across print, digital and multi-channel platforms from around the globe.”
Finalists were chosen from an esteemed group of worldwide content marketing professionals – small and large; B2B and B2C; representing clients in a wide range of industries; and producing programs across multiple channels including magazines, websites, apps, videos, games and social media . The Pearl Awards also recognize the personal achievements of several remarkable content marketing professionals. This year’s individual award winners include “Best Content Director: Tom Sather, Return Path”, “Best Creative Director: Amy Marenco, Rogers Media Inc.” and “Rising Star: Katie Sehl, Spafax.”
The Pearl Awards is recognized by those in the industry as one of the most respected events of the year, celebrating colleagues and those making an impact in the field of content marketing. The annual Pearl Awards Gala will reveal and honor this year’s winners of this global competition on November 16th at Essex House in New York City.
