Blogger, Mom in the City

Kimberly Coleman is a NYC wife and mom of two school-aged sons. She has worked as a blogger/parenting writer for the last ten years. After graduating from Columbia College, she worked in research and finance for almost a decade before giving birth to her first son in 2004. Since then, she’s been fortunate enough to merge her corporate and parenting experiences to create a career as a blogger, web designer and consultant. In addition to founding Mom in the City nine years ago, Kimberly’s work highlights include being the NYC Metro parenting “expert” for BabyZone.com and ParentZone.com for many years (until the company was sold), the managing contributor of CBS New York Best of Kids and the Founder/CEO of RK Responsive Design, and, more recently, joining the SheKnows Experts Among Us community as a Parenting Expert, sharing her experience raising creative innovators with the SheKnows audience.
